Last year around this time I was preparing myself to move to London, for what I thought would be a year. But here I am, not even a complete year later, back in New York City! Most days, entirely content but every now and then I find myself  secretely yearning to wake up to that London fog, grab some fish and chips at a nearby pub or simply be greeted with an amiable "Cheers".

I find myself lost in my thoughts as if I were a child again. Wishing I could be Dorothy, it would just take 3 clicks but in real life all it took was 3 blocks from the subway station and I was there. Staring at the beautiful London Tower Bridge and sending and receiving greetings from the Brits.

Okay, so at this point you are wondering where I'm headed with this one...

The Telectroscope!!!! It's the newest art exhibit in Brooklyn at the Fulton Ferry Landing. Shaped like a telescope it allows you to see right across the Atlantic from Brooklyn to London and vice versa. Both Brooklyn and London viewers happily communicated via dry erase boards, hand gestures and waves.

I thought the exhibit was brilliant! If you're in Brooklyn definitely check it out, it's FREE and available 24/7 until June 15th. You never know who you might meet on the other side.

and ofcourse it was raining in London...
